Need a deed or power of attorney signed and notarized locally? Boston Notary Service arranges appointments for documents prepared by your attorney, lender or closing team, including documents for out-of-state property.

Deed, deed-in-lieu and power-of-attorney documents

Share the document type and property state, who must sign and any witness or recording instructions from the preparer. The preparing attorney or closing team selects the document, confirms signing authority and resolves legal wording or title questions.

Real estate closing signings and loan documents

Boston Notary Service handles buyer and seller signing appointments, purchase and refinance packages, deed-in-lieu signings, deed signings and power-of-attorney signings. We work with individuals, real estate agents, title and escrow companies, lenders and attorneys. Send the property state, appointment address, signer count and closing team’s instructions so we can confirm the assignment.

Signing in Massachusetts for property in the other 49 states

Buying, selling or refinancing property in another state while you are in Massachusetts? We arrange local document-signing appointments for transactions involving property in any of the other 49 states, subject to the closing team’s instructions and applicable requirements. Tell us both the property state and where the signers will meet us. Printing, scanbacks and return shipping can be coordinated with your title, escrow, lender or attorney contact.

For Massachusetts property transactions, closing-related work must fit Massachusetts attorney-closing requirements. Our role is the accepted document-signing and notarial assignment; settlement, funds, title decisions and legal advice remain with the responsible closing professionals.

NNA Certified, Background Screened & E&O Insured Notary Signing Agent. Ask about printing, scanbacks, multiple signers and return delivery when requesting your appointment.

Printing, scanbacks and document return

Send the final packet, paper-size requirements, number of sets and return deadline. Tell us whether the closing team requires scans before originals are shipped and provide its return instructions. We confirm these services with your quote.

Questions during the signing

Your lender, title or escrow officer, or attorney answers questions about loan terms, title and legal consequences. Keep a responsible transaction contact available. We follow the accepted signing instructions and perform the notarial acts we can lawfully complete.

A separate 6D certificate appointment

Real estate agents, sellers and closing teams can also hire us to meet an association’s authorized signer for a 6D certificate. This can be booked independently from a buyer or seller signing.
