Need Emmanuel College documents for use abroad? Start with the registrar’s preparation process and the overseas recipient’s checklist. Boston Notary Service can review the work that remains, including authorized collection, state submission and return delivery when available.

Ask Emmanuel which diploma format the recipient needs

Emmanuel’s registrar guidance directs diploma-notarization questions to the Registrar’s Office. It also notes that an official digital diploma may meet some recipients’ requirements. Confirm acceptance with the receiving organization; do not assume a digital credential replaces an apostille when one is expressly required. Official transcripts follow the college’s transcript-ordering process.

Choose the exact academic record

A diploma, transcript, enrollment letter and degree verification are different records. Ask the receiving organization which it needs, whether copies are accepted, whether it requires a recent issue date and whether each record must be separately certified. Include the school or program and all document types in your request.

Original diploma or replacement?

Tell us whether the original is available and whether you are comfortable releasing it. If the registrar needs an original for comparison, a scan will not replace that step. Ask about a replacement only after confirming the recipient’s format and the school’s current procedure; production can add time before certification begins.

School preparation comes before state certification

The registrar prepares or certifies the school record according to its process. An eligible prepared record can then proceed to Massachusetts certification. A student’s personal affidavit or ordinary photocopy should not be assumed to replace the registrar’s official preparation.

Authorized pickup, release and handoff

Ask the registrar whether a third party may collect the prepared records and what release authorization it requires. Provide the approved collector’s name and confirm the pickup location and ready date with the school. We do not control university access, records release or document production.

Already overseas or away from campus?

You can request a review from outside Massachusetts. Tell us where the records are now, whether the school has completed its preparation and where the finished originals must go. We confirm any permitted collection or mailing arrangement before quoting the work.

Avoid paying twice for the same stage

Some universities offer their own notarization, submission or return options. Confirm what your chosen school service includes, then tell us which work you still need. School charges, government certification, private coordination and carrier delivery are separate items.

What affects the quote and timing?

Document production, registrar availability, releases, certification and shipping follow separate schedules. Provide the date the recipient must receive the completed packet. Tell us about multiple originals, translation instructions and any state or federal records traveling with the academic documents.

Your request checklist

Send the school and program, document types and counts, destination country, recipient checklist, current record location and arrival deadline. Include the registrar’s instructions and identify the assistance you want. Our team confirms the plan, scope and quote before work begins.

Boston Notary Service is an independent service provider. School policies and availability remain with the university. Call 617-230-6676 or email info@bostonnotaryservice.us to discuss the work you need.
